We are seeking a Senior Associate who will support the day-to-day asset management responsibilities for Blackstone’s European real estate portfolio. Blackstone’s real estate asset management team oversees the full lifecycle of an investment post-acquisition, including setting business plans, identifying value creation opportunities and executing disposal / monetization transactions.

Senior Associates at Blackstone have the opportunity to participate in all aspects of projects and will likely be staffed on a number of investments at one time. Senior Associates are expected to assume integral roles on deal teams and be able to work collaboratively with both internal and external counterparties.

Responsibilities:

  • Real estate and investment-level financial modeling and valuation
  • Performing various analyses to assist in making investment, capital and sale decisions
  • Collaborating with portfolio company senior management and joint venture partners to monitor and drive performance
  • Reviewing budgets / business plans
  • Conducting market research and data analysis
  • Attending site tours
  • Managing analysts and associates
  • Executing transactions such as refinancings, recapitalizations and dispositions
  • Assisting with legal negotiations and due diligence

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, ideally within the real estate sector
