The predicted salary is between 50000 - 70000 £ per year.

Analysts will have the opportunity to participate in all aspects of projects and be staffed on a number of assignments at one time while assuming integral roles on deal teams. Analysts will work closely with the investment team on sourcing, due diligence and executing investment opportunities. This is an opportunity for an extraordinary performer who has already mastered financial analytical and research skills through personal investing, academic work and professional experience.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on companies, industries, and asset classes, including helping develop the commercial thesis.
  • Perform pertinent financial analyses, including discounted cash flow, LBO, comparables, and precedent transactions — in addition to preparing relevant financial analyses during diligence.
  • Work with research to prepare due diligence packs and presentation materials for the investment team, providing relevant, informative materials.
  • Conduct interviews with industry experts.
  • Build detailed operating models on prospective deals.
  • Portfolio company support for executed deals including analysis of their reporting packs and joining discussions with management teams.
  • Provide overall support to investment team.

Licensing and Compliance

Depending on the position, you may be required to obtain certain securities licenses if you are in a client facing role and/or if you are engaged in the following:

  • Attending client meetings where you are discussing products and client questions;
  • Marketing funds to new or existing clients;
  • Supervising or training securities licensed employees;
  • Structuring or creating funds/products;
  • Advising on marketing plans prepared by a sales team or developing and/or contributing information for marketing materials.
