2026 Blackstone Private Equity Summer Analyst (London)

Blackstone\’s Private Equity group offers Summer Analysts the chance to engage in the direct acquisition of large and midsized companies in a variety of sectors worldwide. The investment process develops both the financial skills of investment banking and the strategic thinking of management consulting. As a result, this internship program offers a unique experience among financial firms, enabling our Summer Analysts to develop a well‑rounded and fine‑tuned business mind. Summer Analysts at Blackstone have the opportunity to participate in all aspects of projects and be staffed on a number of assignments at once. Due to the relatively small size of the professional staff, Summer Analysts can assume integral roles on deal teams. Summer Analysts are involved with the development, structuring and financing of transactions and regularly attend internal meetings, negotiations and due diligence sessions.

Summer Analyst Work May Include:

• Financial analysis and modeling
• Investment research
• Competitive analysis
• Developing investment committee presentations
• Assisting in the execution of transactions
• Drafting of memoranda for internal and external use
• Communications with portfolio company senior management, depending on the position, you may be required to obtain certain securities licenses if you are in a client‑facing role and/or if you are engaged in the following:
  • Attending client meetings where you are discussing Blackstone products and/or client questions
  • Marketing Blackstone funds to new or existing clients
  • Supervising or training securities licensed employees
  • Structuring or creating Blackstone funds/products
  • Advising on marketing plans prepared by a sales team or developing and/or contributing information for marketing materials
