Programme Description
Blackstone\’s Summer Analyst Program is a 10 week in-person experience, offering participants extensive exposure across the firm. This program provides Summer Analysts with valuable guidance through mentorship, continuous feedback, technical and soft skill training, networking opportunities with professionals across the firm and the unique chance to fully immerse themselves in Blackstone\’s culture.
Job Description
Summer Analysts are generalists and participate in all aspects of projects and can expect to work on a number of assignments at one time. Institutional Client Solutions Summer Analysts will have exposure to the Blackstone Credit & Insurance European relationship management team, supporting the team with on fundraising efforts and existing relationship management. Summer Analysts will work closely across the team and the Blackstone organization and play an integral role in the Institutional Client Solutions process.
Responsibilities:

  • Support relationship managers in all aspects of the fundraising cycle across institutional investors and investment consultants
  • Respond to inbound investor requests
  • Organize meeting prep (including background research, prospect sensitivities, program intelligence) and attend investor meetings
  • Coordinating and executing on any follow-up items for investors following meetings
  • Assist in coordination of investor materials such as presentations, RFPs, DDQs, and bespoke proposals
  • Assist with prospect mapping and tracking across key regions and client/consultant channels
  • Conduct research around business development trends or themes by geography and/or client type
  • Help prepare and distribute periodic communications to clients and consultants, including reports, newsletters, marketing documents, and announcements
  • Assist in coordination of meetings and materials with internal stakeholders
  • Use initiative to identify processes that optimise fundraising and ongoing relationship management
  • Assist in management of the CRM system to better track and derive insights from client activity
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders interacted with on a day to day basis
  • Develop understanding of asset classes offered through the Blackstone Credit & Insurance platform
