2026 Blackstone Credit and Insurance, Infrastructure and Asset-Based Credit H2 Off Cycle Intern (London)
The role is a part of Blackstone’s Infrastructure & Asset-Based Credit Group (IABC). Interns will support the assessment of structured credit opportunities across sectors such as residential & commercial mortgages, consumer & commercial finance, digital infrastructure, and fund finance. Responsibilities include due diligence, financial analysis, modelling, research, presentation development, transaction execution support, and participation in client and internal meetings.
Responsibilities
- Conduct due diligence, financial analysis, and modelling to support investment decisions.
- Perform research, competitive analysis, and benchmarking across industries and companies.
- Develop presentations and draft investment memoranda for internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in the execution of transactions, including structuring and negotiations.
- Lead individual research projects focused on specific industries or companies.
- Participate in client and internal meetings, negotiations, and due diligence sessions.
Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Team-oriented, highly motivated, intelligent, and sound judgment.
- Basic knowledge of accounting and finance.
- Self-motivation to find solutions independently with humility to acknowledge limits and uncertainties.
- Commitment to personal and professional development.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Intellectual curiosity.
- Good judgement.
- Technical proficiency in Excel/VBA; programming languages experience is a plus.
