About Us and the role:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our Residential Team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for legal support and residential property law. The successful candidate will assist with case preparation, document management, and client communication, contributing to the efficient operation of our legal services. Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and organise legal documents related to residential property transactions and cases.
- Conduct research on relevant laws, regulations, and precedents to support case preparation.
- Manage case files and ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
- Liaise with clients, solicitors, and external agencies to facilitate communication and gather necessary information.
- Utilise Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) to prepare reports, correspondence, and schedules.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information in accordance with legal standards.
- Support the team in administrative tasks to ensure smooth workflow within the department.
Experience
- Proven experience as a paralegal or legal assistant specialising in residential property law is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
- Excellent communication skills, especially in working towards our Treating Customers fairly approach
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Good IT skills with the ability to adapt to new software or legal management systems.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong time management skills to meet deadlines consistently.
- The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a proactive and self motivated attitude
