Are you a passionate Speech and Language Therapist looking for an opportunity where your expertise can make a genuine difference to children and young people?
We are looking for a caring, creative and motivated Speech and Language Therapist to join the team at this School and multiple sites across the Mansfield area. Working as part of a supportive multi-disciplinary team, you will help pupils develop the communication skills they need to engage with learning, build relationships and become more independent.
This is a varied and rewarding role where you will provide high-quality assessment and intervention, develop individual communication programmes and work closely with education teams, families, carers and other professionals.
The Role
As our Speech and Language Therapist, you will manage and prioritise your own caseload, providing both direct and indirect therapy through one-to-one sessions, small-group interventions and classroom-based support.
You will assess pupils' speech, language and social communication needs, create tailored therapy programmes and monitor progress against agreed outcomes. You will also contribute to EHCP annual reviews, multi-disciplinary meetings and the wider development of communication practice across the school.
Your responsibilities will include:
Completing initial and ongoing assessments of pupils' speech, language and social communication skills
Writing professional assessment and progress reports
Developing, implementing and reviewing individual communication programmes
Delivering one-to-one, small-group and classroom-based interventions
