Blackstone Recruitment are working with a provider of education, care and support services for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities who are recruiting for SEN Teacher. Please see details below for the full job advert: Location: Cambridgeshire/Hertfordshire border Salary: £31,650 – £49,084 (M1-UPS3) Hours: 40 hours per week The role: They are looking for a passionate and skilled teacher to join their education team. It will be your responsibility to plan and deliver high quality teaching and learning within a meaningful and engaging curriculum that stretches and challenges all learners within your class. As a growing school, for the right candidate there could be opportunities for career development and progression. Experience: Successful candidate is likely to demonstrate the following: * Be responsible for the quality of teaching and learning of all pupils who are assigned to the post holder, having responsibility for their progress, welfare and outcomes. * Supervise the work of any support staff, who are assigned to work with the post holder’s pupils. * Provide leadership across the school in a designated subject or curriculum area, this to include monitoring quality and standard, contributing to school planning and self-evaluation, providing professional support to other teachers and support staff, advising the Head of School on appropriate resources and materials. * Leading appropriate professional development. * To implement the aims of the school. * Provide a purposeful and safe learning environment. * Liaise with care staff to ensure the safety and well-being of all pupils Duties will vary, you must expect to diversify and lend a hand wherever is required.
