We are seeking an experienced and driven Assistant Headteacher Pastoral to play a key role in leading behaviour, attendance, safeguarding and student welfare across our school. This is an exciting opportunity for an established leader to join a committed senior leadership team and make a meaningful impact on outcomes for students with additional needs.
The Role
- Leading on attendance, behaviour and pastoral support across the school
- Acting as Designated Safeguarding Lead and promoting student welfare
- Supporting the strategic leadership and development of the school
- Managing and developing staff, including performance and CPD
- Driving high standards of pupil behaviour, engagement and outcomes
- Using data to monitor performance and inform improvement strategies
- Supporting day-to-day leadership and deputising where required
