Blackstone Recruitment is working with a Private Hospital in North London looking for a Lead Occupational Therapist. This is a permanent contract working full time. Job Summary * This is a lead/managerial position and the successful candidate will lead a small but dedicated team to deliver assessments, groups, and individual sessions across three departments. * The OT service supports both our 23 bedded NHS and 30 bedded private wards, occupied by patients accessing our acute services, general psychiatry programme, addictions programme and growing Tier 6 obsessive-compulsive disorders service. * This role will be predominantly based on the acute ward, whilst also supporting the other inpatient therapy programmes. * We welcome applications from Occupational therapists wishing to develop their skills within an inpatient setting, interested in leadership and service development. * We highly value a multi-disciplinary approach to service delivery; the successful candidate will join a friendly team of consultant psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, nursing colleagues and will report to the Therapy services manager. * We have a well-developed CPD pathway and you will be supported in developing your career. This currently includes expansion of our DBT programme and autism assessment service.
