£16.81 per hour + 30p per mile | Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities | Immediate Starts Available Blackstone Recruitment is working with a well-established community care provider in Cambridgeshire to recruit Community Care Assistants to join their growing team.
We have multiple vacancies available with immediate starts for caring, reliable individuals who are passionate about supporting people to remain independent in their own homes.
The Role As a Community Care Assistant, you will travel between service users' homes, providing high-quality care and support to adults within the local community.
You will support a variety of individuals, including
- 1. Older adults
- 2. People living with dementia
- 3. Individuals recently discharged from hospital
- 4. People receiving end-of-life and palliative care
- 5. Adults requiring ongoing packages of care Duties Include
- Providing personal care with dignity and respect
- Assisting with moving and handling using appropriate equipment
- Supporting with mobility and transfers
- Medication support where required
- Building positive relationships with service users and their families
- Maintaining accurate care records
- Travelling independently between service users across your allocated area What's on Offer
- 30p per mile mileage allowance (paid between service users)
- Full-time hours available (approximately 50 hours per week)
- Part-time and flexible working patterns also considered - minimum of 40 hours per week
- Uniform and ID badge provided
- Ongoing training and development

- Previous experience working within domiciliary, community or home care
- Full UK driving licence
- Access to your own vehicle
- A caring, compassionate and reliable approach
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to work flexibly across a Monday to Sunday rota Recruitment Process
