Job Description: BREDS is seeking an experienced transactional Real Estate credit lawyer to join its legal team in Europe (based in London). BREDS makes opportunistic, core, and core+ real estate debt investments across Europe on behalf of a large, diversified capital pool. Investments are made in all parts of the capital structure across numerous jurisdictions, asset classes and often complex deal structures.
As a member of the transactional legal team, you will work alongside the deal team, other internal stakeholders, and external counsel and be responsible for the oversight of transaction management and execution, including pre-deal documents (engagement letters and alike), advising on deal structuring, assisting with term sheet negotiation, transaction management across the business, coordination with internal and external stakeholders on execution and various transaction related issues, and reviewing and negotiating a broad range of transaction documents.

Qualifications: Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent, use initiative, and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. The successful candidate should have:
- At least 5 years of post-qualification experience in European real estate credit transactions
- Ability to be proactive in new situations, and to manage projects and third parties, including outside counsel
