Blackstone is the world’s largest alternative asset manager, seeking to deliver compelling returns for institutional and individual investors by strengthening the companies in which the firm invests. The Firm is seeking to recruit an Analyst to join the EMEA Fund Finance team, supporting a number of European funds across multiple asset classes. This role offers broad exposure across fund accounting, financial reporting, liquidity management, investor activity, and strategic finance initiatives within a dynamic and fast-paced alternatives platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a key liaison across a broad group of internal and external stakeholders, including EMEA and global finance teams, Treasury, Accounting Policy, Investor Relations, external administrators, auditors, and tax advisors.
  • Partner closely with internal finance teams and external fund administrators to oversee the monthly NAV process and validate complex fund and corporate-level activity, including subscriptions, redemptions, distributions, carried interest/promote calculations, management fee calculations, NAV allocations, liquidity forecasting, and corporate G&A reporting.
  • Support liquidity management across the fund structures, including treasury operations relating to investor subscriptions, redemptions, and distributions, ensuring sufficient liquidity is maintained across multiple jurisdictions and entities.
  • Analyse complex financial information and deliver accurate, timely, and decision-useful reporting and performance analysis for senior management, Boards, and other key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate Fund Board meetings and manage the delivery of reporting materials across internal teams and external service providers to ensure high-quality and efficient reporting processes.
  • Support the preparation and delivery of annual and interim financial statements in accordance with IFRS, local GAAP, and applicable regulatory requirements across relevant jurisdictions.
  • Assist in the management of annual and interim audits, including coordination with external auditors, administrators, and internal stakeholders, and review of financial statements and related disclosures.
  • Partner with internal Tax teams and external advisors to support fund-level tax compliance, regulatory reporting, and investor reporting requirements.
  • Assist with technical accounting matters, fund structuring considerations, and ad hoc strategic or operational projects across the EMEA finance platform.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives, operational efficiencies, and the enhancement of financial controls and reporting frameworks.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Degree educated and ACA qualified (or equivalent accounting qualification) with 1–2 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Strong IFRS accounting and financial reporting expertise, ideally gained within private equity, private credit, asset management, or financial services environments.
  • Prior experience with credit funds, alternative investment structures, or fund administrators would be advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and financial skills, with advanced Excel and PowerPoint capabilities.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and operate as a trusted point of contact across a wide range of stakeholders and counterparties.
  • Commercially minded, proactive, and intellectually curious, with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented approach, with willingness to support broader team initiatives and ad hoc projects where required.
