An established, community-focused practice in Edinburgh is looking to welcome an Optometrist to its team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-equipped branch with a strong clinical setup and a supportive, experienced on-site team. The practice is open Monday to Friday 09:00–18:00 and Saturday 09:00–17:30, offering a structured working week with a good balance of routine clinics and clinical variety.
About the practice and role:
- Two fully equipped test rooms plus a dedicated pre-screen room
- Brand-new OCT recently installed
- Henson visual fields machine
- Two Pulseair tonometers, one in each test room
- One test room fitted with a phoropter and one with a trial frame
- On average 7–8 optical clinics per week
- Audio clinic held once per fortnight
- Most days spent working alongside another Optometrist, with occasional solo testing
You will be supported by an established in-branch team, including a Branch Manager, Dispensing Optician, and Customer Care Assistant, ensuring a smooth and well-organised clinic environment.
