About the Role: A stylish, customer-focused optical store is seeking a Part-Time Optometrist to join their team. The practice is designed to be a welcoming, cosy space where customers can relax, socialise, and enjoy a unique lifestyle shopping experience. The Optometrist plays a key role in delivering exceptional patient care, acting as a brand ambassador and supporting the retail team with optical expertise.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding eye examinations, ensuring the highest quality patient experience.
  • Accurately obtain spectacle prescriptions and recommend lens treatments tailored to patient needs.
  • Educate patients on eye health and correct use of spectacles, including varifocals.
  • Ensure technical excellence and compliance with data protection regulations.

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified to practice as an Optometrist in the UK.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build strong patient rapport to encourage repeat visits and referrals.
  • Available to work Tuesdays, Fridays & Saturdays.
