The Role

Stores are designed to offer more than a traditional optical setting, creating a relaxed and lifestyle-focused environment where customer experience is at the centre of everything. Working closely with the Store Manager and wider retail team, the successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality eye care and supporting the overall customer journey.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering comprehensive and patient-focused eye examinations
  • Providing accurate prescriptions and tailored lens recommendations
  • Educating patients on eye health and spectacle care
  • Supporting and training the wider store team on optical knowledge
  • Assisting customers on the shop floor and promoting eye test bookings
  • Supporting with spectacle collections and order checks

About You

  • Fully qualified and GOC registered Optometrist
  • Available to work 4 days per week including Fridays and Saturdays
  • Comfortable working within a customer-focused environment
  • Strong communication and patient relationship-building skills
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional clinical care and customer service
  • Organised, adaptable, and a strong team player
