Blackrow Group is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager/ Project Engineers (Mechanical bias) to help drive our expanding Midlands operation forward. With over 45 years in industry and continued investment into our new Midlands facility, this is an opportunity to join a business with genuine momentum, long-term projects, and real career progression. This is not a desk-only role. We’re looking for someone who can lead projects properly, build strong client relationships, and confidently manage delivery from concept through to completion.

What the role involves:

  • Managing mechanical engineering and fabrication projects from start to finish
  • Building strong relationships with clients and site teams
  • Preparing quotations, estimates, and project variations
  • Coordinating planning, resources, budgets, and delivery
  • Supporting installations, commissioning, and final handovers
  • Driving quality, performance, and continuous improvement

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience delivering engineering or fabrication projects
  • Strong understanding of welding, fabrication, and manufacturing processes
  • Experience within food & beverage / food manufacturing environments
  • Someone commercially aware, organised, and confident leading projects on site
