Due to recent project awards and continued growth, Blackrow Group is looking to recruit experienced Sheet Metal Workers to join our established fabrication teams. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled fabricators who take pride in high-quality work and want to be part of a growing engineering business delivering projects across the UK.
The role will involve working on a variety of stainless steel fabrication projects, including platforms, conveyors, food processing equipment, bespoke machinery, guarding, chutes, frameworks, and production line components. Opportunities are available from either our Grimsby facility or our Midlands workshop in Broughton Astley, Leicester, with some work carried out at client sites nationwide.
As a Sheet Metal Worker at Blackrow Group, you will be responsible for:
- Fabricating stainless steel components, assemblies, and systems
- Working on platforms, conveyors, and food processing equipment
- Cutting, forming, assembling, and finishing sheet metal products
- Supporting workshop and site-based fabrication works
- Maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and workmanship
- Working as part of a skilled team to deliver projects on time and to specification
- Supporting project delivery across workshop and site environments when required
Proven experience working with stainless steel platforms, conveyors, and food processing equipment is essential, along with demonstrated skills in sheet metal fabrication. A good understanding of workshop safety and quality standards, as well as flexibility to support both workshop and site-based projects, is also required.
