Layton Primary School is looking to recruit an enthusiastic Level 4 Teaching Assistant to work with our Foundation Stage pupils. The post is temporary, 37 hours per week, term time only plus 5 INSET days; please be aware that the salary advertised is pro‑rated.

Salary
- Salary: NJC Grade E SCP12-17 £28,598 - £31,022 per annum, pro rata

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be required to support generally in class as well as working with selected individuals and groups of pupils.
Qualifications
- A willingness to work towards professional standards for Higher Level Teaching Assistant, or have acquired a qualification
- Proven skills in Literacy and Numeracy
- A love of working with Foundation Stage children
- At least 3 years’ experience working with children in the Early Years Foundation Stage
