Salary – NJC Grade A SCP2 £24,413 per annum pro rata for part time hours (£12.65 per hour)

The team is passionate about food, nutrition, and providing a high-quality catering service to our local community. We employ over 150 dedicated local staff, and we are looking to recruit a Catering Assistant at St John School.
This role is a fantastic opportunity to meet new people and work in a friendly, enthusiastic and dedicated team environment. So, if you have enthusiasm, experience and commitment to providing an excellent catering service then this is for you.

- Support the provision of high-quality catering services in an education environment.
- Work as part of a team to deliver meals and maintain high standards of hygiene and safety.
- Assist with daily kitchen tasks and customer service as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and/or vulnerable adults.
- DBS check satisfactory history (minimum of two years).
- Medical clearance and evidence of essential qualifications as required.
- Proof of Right to Work in the UK in accordance with the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996.
- Beneficial: experience in education catering or similar environment.
