An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated individual who wants to make a difference to join our fantastic, motivated and developing team, where no two days are the same.
Vitaline is Blackpool's Technology Enabled Care Service. We are dedicated to supporting independent living through the use of the most advanced forms of assistive technology available and through person-to-person contact through our responder service. Vitaline also provides an out of hour's service to other Council Departments.
Your role will be to lead a Team of Vitaline First Responders to help vulnerable people keep or regain their independence in their own home with an improved quality of life. You must be able to provide clear direction and support to the team in the day to day operational delivery of the Vitaline service, ensuring that high standards are maintained.
We are looking for someone with excellent organisational and communication skills who has the ability to lead and motivate others, adapt to change, and work flexibly in a challenging, rewarding, fast-paced, and responsive working environment.

Core hours for this post are variable shifts between the hours of 07.00 to 22.20 including weekends, bank holidays and shift working.

This post is subject to satisfactory reference history of at least two years, Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, medical clearance, evidence of any essential qualifications and proof of Right to Work in the UK in accordance with the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996.
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and amendments to the exemptions order, which mean that certain offences are 'protected' and do not need to be disclosed.
The successful applicant will be required to work outside of a 7am to 8pm Monday to Friday work pattern and will receive an additional payment on top of the quoted salary as a result.
