About the Role
Join our Engineering Services Operational Team and help maintain Blackpool's iconic coastal promenade. This is a hands‐on role where you'll carry out planned, routine, and reactive maintenance to keep our coastal areas safe and in excellent condition.
What You'll Do
- Repair and maintain highways and coastal assets, including tarmac, concrete, kerbs, and modular surfaces.
- Operate high‐pressure jetting systems and large plant equipment.
- For Skilled Operatives: Lead and coordinate a team, plan resources, ensure health and safety compliance, and manage day‐to‐day operations.
What We're Looking For
- Practical experience in highways or civil engineering work.
- Ability to work in a tidal environment safely.
- For Skilled Operatives: Supervisory experience and strong organisational skills.
- A valid UK driving licence (HGV desirable).
- Relevant training such as NRSWA and abrasive wheels certification & high‐pressure water jetting.
