Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and managing vibrant leisure facilities? We are looking for a Duty Officer to join our Leisure team within Community and Environmental Services.
What you will do:
- Oversee the day-to-day running of a large leisure facility, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and outstanding customer service.
- Lead and motivate a team, allocating tasks and maintaining high standards.
- Respond to customer queries and complaints professionally.
- Manage cash handling and daily reconciliations.
- Support health and safety compliance, including risk assessments and emergency procedures.
- Contribute to service development and continuous improvement initiatives.
What we are looking for:
- RLSS UK National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (or willingness to achieve within 3 months).
- Pool Plant Operators Certificate and First Aid at Work (or ability to achieve within 6 months).
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver excellent customer service.
- Experience in a busy leisure environment and knowledge of health and safety procedures.
