Salary: NJC Grade H1/H2 SCP 27-35 £38,220 - £46,142 pro‑rata per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Adult Social Care Mental Health Team for a part‑time post at 22.5 hours per week. The successful candidate will be based at The Gateway Blackpool Football Stadium with the Community Mental Health Team, giving the opportunity to work closely with health colleagues to provide the best outcomes for the Blackpool community.

You will need to be passionate about supporting people with mental health issues in a strengths‑based manner, promoting independence and choice. You will work within the relevant legal frameworks such as the Care Act and the Mental Capacity Act.

The team is a busy but supportive group of social workers, support workers and carers assessors. You will be provided with regular and supportive supervision and have access to flexible working arrangements.

This post is subject to a satisfactory reference history of at least two years, a Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, medical clearance, evidence of any essential qualifications and proof of right to work in the UK in accordance with the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996.
