An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time deputy team manager post in the Adult Social Care Mental Health Team based at The Gateway at Blackpool Football stadium. We are a busy, co-located team with our health colleagues and work in partnership with a variety of agencies to achieve the best outcomes for the people we support.
The deputy team manager will be responsible for supervising mental health social workers including Approved Mental Health Professionals and will support the team manager with the day-to-day running of the team.
Responsibilities:- Supervise mental health social workers, including Approved Mental Health Professionals.
- Support the team manager with the day-to-day running of the team.
- AMHP qualification or willingness to undertake AMHP training is required.
- Strong leadership skills with good communication and an ability to lead by example.
- Experience of performance management and/or compliance/audit would be an advantage.
