Type: Seasonal, Temporary Contract

Dates: From July to November

Hours: Flexible - average of 5 hours per week over the period of employment, shifts may include early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.

Are you ready to bring world-famous attractions to life? Blackpool Tourism Limited is looking for Team Members to join our vibrant teams at Sandcastle Waterpark and the legendary Blackpool Tower. From helping guests enjoy themselves at the waterpark to guiding them through one of the UK’s most iconic landmarks this is your chance to work somewhere as exciting as it sounds!

What You’ll Be Doing:

No two days are ever the same! Your role will include:

  • Delivering warm, friendly welcomes and outstanding guest service.
  • Assisting with admissions and ticketing, ensuring smooth entry and great first impressions.
  • Providing information and advice on attractions, experiences, and tickets.
  • Managing guest flow and queues to keep everything running smoothly.
  • Proactively engaging with guests to enhance their visit from arrival to departure.

At Sandcastle:

Retail & Commercial Sales

  • Supporting retail outlets by helping guests find the perfect souvenir, gift, or essential item.
  • Actively promoting products, offers, and seasonal lines to maximise sales opportunities.
  • Demonstrating product knowledge and making confident recommendations.
  • Processing transactions accurately and efficiently at the till.
  • Maintaining high standards of visual merchandising, stock presentation, and cleanliness.
  • Replenishing stock and supporting stock control to ensure shelves are well presented and inviting.
  • Contributing to a positive, sales-focused environment that enhances the guest experience.

Food & Beverage (F&B)

  • Serving drinks and light refreshments with a friendly, professional approach across outlets including Waterfalls Café and Waters Edge Kitchen.
  • Maintaining clean, safe, and well-stocked food and beverage areas.
  • Assisting with food service during busy periods and special events.
  • Ensuring all F&B areas meet hygiene, safety, and presentation standards.

At The Blackpool Tower:

  • Assisting guests at various attractions including The Blackpool tower experience, Tower Circus, and Tower Ballroom.
  • Offering tips, directions, and stories that enhance the experience.
  • Supporting event flow and guest movement throughout this multi-attraction venue.

Food & Beverage (F&B) at The Blackpool Tower:

  • Serving drinks and light refreshments with a friendly and professional attitude in various bars and event spaces, including the Tower Ballroom and Dungeon Bar.
  • Maintaining clean and well-stocked bars, ensuring all F&B areas meet the highest standards of presentation and cleanliness.
  • Assisting with food service during events, helping guests enjoy their experience to the fullest.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A naturally friendly, outgoing, and approachable personality.
  • Confidence engaging with guests of all ages.
  • Ability to work well in busy, fast-paced environments with a positive attitude.
  • A strong focus on sales, service, and safety.
  • Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or tourism is a plus but a great attitude is even better!
  • Flexible availability including weekends, school holidays, and bank holidays.
