Blackpool & The Fylde College have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Safeguarding and Wellbeing Co-ordinator to join our dynamic team based at our Bispham campus. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis, and in return, we will offer a competitive salary.
Blackpool and The Fylde College (B&FC) is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Safeguarding and Wellbeing Co-ordinator to join our Student Support and Wellbeing team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead on safeguarding and wellbeing concerns, ensuring timely and effective interventions that support the success and safety of our students and apprentices.
About the Safeguarding and Wellbeing Co-ordinator role:
As part of the Student Support and Wellbeing team, you will play a central role in managing safeguarding and wellbeing processes, data, and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities of our Safeguarding and Wellbeing Co-ordinator:
- Leading the triage and response to all safeguarding and wellbeing concerns via MyConcern, ensuring appropriate and proportionate support.
- Coordinating and maintaining accurate records and data reporting related to student safeguarding, mental health, and wellbeing.
- Planning and facilitating wellbeing activities and awareness campaigns throughout the year, including liaison with internal and external partners.
- Managing a caseload of students, including those from vulnerable backgrounds, ensuring access to learning and wellbeing support.
- Providing leadership to team members and working collaboratively across the College and with external agencies to promote a safe and inclusive environment.
