To provide a comprehensive appointment and reception service for imaging examinations for all wards and departments at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, GP’s and all other users of the service. Ensure waiting list targets are met, highlighting progress and any anticipated problems associated with meeting the targets.
Main duties of the job:
- Work as part of a busy, demanding clerical team in the Imaging Department.
- Demonstrate motivation, enthusiasm and excellent communication skills, working effectively as part of a team.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and deliver excellent customer care skills.
- Perform first-line administrative responsibilities and use IT systems effectively.
- Knowledge of the Radiology Department and Radiology Information Systems would be an advantage, but is not essential.
- Previous NHS experience is also useful. Training on specific hospital systems will be provided.

Qualifications:- Educated to GCSE standard with A-C (Maths & English)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office – Word, Excel
- ECDL or equivalent
- NVQ in Customer Services
- Experience working in a customer-focused environment
- Previous experience working in a health-care environment
