The Arc is a unique service and there is an exciting opportunity to recruit to a Senior Support Worker. The ARC is an evolving service that is supporting a variety of people some who have reablement needs, are Covid positive, need a place of safety, a place to recover after a hospital admission etc.
The ARC's CQC Registered Manager is dedicated in supporting the staff team to build a service that is person centred, responsive and an asset to Blackpool and the Fylde Coast. The ARC works alongside health and social work colleagues to provide a holistic experience for the people who stay, usually for periods ranging from a few days to six weeks, occasionally longer.
The role of the Senior Support Worker is to lead and manage a team of RSWs, being a mentor, role model and shift leader. Supporting the whole team with admissions, discharges, medication, audits and staff development to name a few of the many tasks involved in the role.
You will receive a warm welcome at the ARC and work alongside a dedicated staff team who want what is best for the people who access the service.
