Blackpool Sixth Form specialises in outstanding 16-19 education and we have an exciting opportunity for a Biology Teacher to join our Science department. Whether you are taking your first steps into teaching or if you are looking to advance an already established career, this is your chance to make a real impact in a friendly and supportive college community where your contributions are valued. This is a permanent position ideally with a start date of 5th January 2026, although an August 2026 start would also be considered.
Working closely with a dedicated team, you will directly contribute to our students\’ success and help them to achieve their ambitions. We believe that all science qualifications carry equal importance; which is why, as part of our science team, you will have the rewarding opportunity to teach A-level biology whilst also contributing to the delivery of CTEC Applied Science.
We are passionate about our subject and we aspire to develop our students so they readily go forward into the world of science with the skills, enthusiasm and confidence necessary to succeed. Our department is innovative and continuously seeks new opportunities to develop.
