The Creative Blackpool Development Group, supported by Blackpool Grand Theatre, wishes to recruit a dynamic and innovative leader who will spearhead collaborative efforts, drive creative initiatives, and foster partnerships across Blackpool's cultural sector.
Over the past 3 years, the Creative Blackpool Delivery Group (CBDG) has been developing shared leadership for culture and place by leveraging the support, knowledge, and capabilities of our cultural assets and cross-sector partners to develop an ambitious vision for 2030 β that Blackpool will be recognised as the UK's Coastal Capital of Creativity.
Our next step on this journey is to deliver an exciting and ambitious programme of strategic and joined-up activities that support the delivery of our strategy. We have now successfully secured Β£750k Arts Council England (ACE) Place Partnership funding for the programme to match cash investment and support in kind from a wide range of partners.
Blackpool's cultural sector has a small number of leaders, so we wish to appoint a Partnership Director to lead and support the delivery of this programme over the next 2.5 years until autumn 2027.
