Volunteers are usually expected to attend a minimum of 2-3 hours per week. Volunteers are needed at various times on various days throughout the week, from Monday to Friday.
Volunteers receive ongoing support through meetings and monthly social activities. Opportunities to meet on a one-to-one basis with the Volunteer Officer. Training is offered and further arrangements can be made to meet personal needs.
Due to the nature of our service, all volunteering roles require a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and two references. If you have any queries about this, please speak to the Volunteers Team.
