We\βre looking for a motivated and approachable individual to join our Recovery team as a Revenues Officer. This role is part of Blackpool and Fylde Councils\β Shared Revenues and Benefits Service, and you will help administer and collect Council Tax and Business Rates β essential funding for local services.
You\βll be helping customers understand their bills and set up payment plans, communicating with them by phone, email, and in person. Many of the people you\βll speak to are facing financial challenges, so being calm, respectful, and professional is key.
We\βre looking for someone who\βs confident with IT, has a good eye for detail, and can manage their time well. If you\βve worked with the public before β whether in retail, hospitality, or customer service β that\βs a bonus. Most importantly, we want someone who\βs eager to learn and ready to make a difference.
This is a great opportunity to build a career in local government, gain valuable experience, and be part of a supportive team that\βs committed to helping the community
