We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our Childcare legal team within an innovative Local Authority. The post of Pre-Proceedings Legal Officer will provide legal advice and support to client officers in the progression of Public Law Outline (PLO) pre-proceedings matters.
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Undertaking and progressing a caseload of PLO pre-proceedings matters
- Obtaining and collating assessments, third party evidence, medical and expert reports, and various testing results
- Undertaking Section 7 and Section 37 Court requests
This post requires access to PSN (Public Services Network) services or networks and the successful post holder will be required to undertake a Basic Disclosure check of unspent convictions through Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS). This post is also subject to satisfactory references, medical clearance, evidence of any essential qualifications and proof of legal working in accordance with the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996.
