Salary- NJC Grade C Fixed SCP 5 £24,790 (£13.26 Per Hour)

Leisure Assistants are currently recruiting Casual Leisure Assistants.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for pool discipline and constant vigilance of bathers activities.
  • Keep up to date knowledge of the facilities programme and requirements of a multi use facility.
  • Ensure knowledge of products, sales procedures and activities are up to date.
  • Maintain training hours in accordance with NPLQ guidelines, and maintain the NPLQ qualification.
  • Be well presented at all times with clean uniform, name badge and a neat and tidy appearance.
  • Provide excellent standards of customer service and follow the staff pledge. Complete membership show rounds as and when necessary, with a view to sign up new members.
  • Positively reflect Blackpool Services and Blackpool Council at all times.
  • Ensure that all equipment is safe for use, available and set out for the customer.
  • Accurately complete all paperwork required on a daily basis.
  • Ensure cleaning and inspection processes are followed and the facility is maintained to a safe and clean level.
  • Implement and supervise measures devised by the Leisure Manager, Duty Officer, Assistant Duty Officer, maintaining the security of the premises.
