An exciting opportunity for a Social Worker to join our dedicated and busy Learning Disability Team in Blackpool. The role involves working with adults with a diagnosed learning disability and/or autism, supporting them to achieve the best possible outcomes and promote independence, choice and control.
Contract type: Permanent
Hours: 37 per week
Salary: NJC Grade H1/H2 SCP 27-35 £38,220 – £46,142 per annum

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a varied caseload and work with individuals using a strengths‑based approach.
- Complete safeguarding enquiries, Care Act assessments, reviews, and support planning.
- All assessments and interventions are undertaken in accordance with the Care Act 2014.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience completing Care Act assessments and supporting people with eligible needs.
- Evidence of relevant qualifications and CPD.
- Reference history of at least two years, DBS check and medical clearance.
- Proof of Right to Work in the UK.
