We are offering three permanent full‑time positions within our Employment Service. The role is based in South Cumbria (Barrow in Furness, Ulverston, Kendal, Grange Over Sands) and focuses on supporting individuals who are living with severe mental illness to find or retain meaningful employment that supports their recovery.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing case‑management and employment support to vulnerable clients
- Assessing clients’ skills, interests and needs to match suitable job opportunities
- Collaborating with employers to secure placements and ensure a good fit for clients
- Monitoring progress and adapting support plans to improve employment outcomes
Required qualifications and experience:
- Experience working with vulnerable or mentally‑ill populations
- Experience managing a small caseload of employment clients
- Ability to help clients secure meaningful, sustainable employment
- Strong communication and organisational skills
