Blackpool Council is looking for a motivated and detail-focused individual to join our Highways Asset Management Team. This is a career graded role, offering an excellent opportunity to develop from Assistant to Technician level while building a career in highways and asset management.
About the Role
You’ll support the management of highway assets by maintaining digital records, producing GIS/CAD plans, analysing data and contributing to maintenance planning.
What You’ll Do
- Update and maintain asset data, maps and records
- Produce CAD/GIS drawings and reports
- Support survey data analysis and works programming
- Respond to enquiries and assist with consultations
- Undertake site visits to collect and verify information
About You
- Strong IT, organisational and communication skills
- Experience or interest in GIS, CAD or data analysis
- Relevant qualifications (GCSEs essential; higher-level for Technician)
