About the Role

Contract – Temporary until 1st April 2026

Hours – 37hrs

Salary – NJC Grade F SCP £32,061 – £35,412 per annum

Closing Date – 25th September 2025 at 23.59pm

The Healthy Travel School Engagement Officer will work closely with Blackpool Schools to implement, co-ordinate and deliver a series of Healthy Travel Programmes and Initiatives.

Working closely with the Active Communities Development Manager, Active Travel Officer and Healthy Places Community Officer, the post holder will seek to increase rates of active travel within local schools and explore opportunities for collaborative working to ensure clear and accessible links for active travel journeys within local communities.

This is initially a temporary contract until the end of the 25/26 academic year, however, based on further funding, the role may be continued.
