As a Senior Business Support Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of high-quality business support services. You will support managers and teams across Business Support (covering duties with Social Care Purchasing, Social Care Benefits Team, Business Support Finance, Quality Assurance and Direct Payments. You will help to maintain effective administrative processes, achieve performance targets, and deliver excellent customer service., In this role, you will:
- Provide day-to-day supervision and support to Business Support staff.
- Coordinate and monitor workloads to ensure service priorities and deadlines are met.
- Support the delivery of efficient administrative processes across Adult Social Care.
- Identify opportunities for service improvement and contribute to the implementation of new ways of working.
- Produce and analyse performance information, reports, and management data.
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and data protection requirements.
- Act as a key point of contact for colleagues, managers, and partner organisations.
- Support recruitment, induction, training, and development activities within the team.
- Contribute to projects and initiatives that support service delivery and organisational objectives., This opportunity is offered as a 9-month secondment to cover maternity leave.
