We are looking for a passionate, dedicated individual to join our award‑winning Young Persons Resettlement Team. You will support young people aged 16 to 18 across two 24/7 supported accommodation sites in Blackpool.

The role involves:

  • Managing the day‑to‑day running of the house and supporting young people to reach their full potential.
  • Empowering young people to maintain accommodation and learn life skills such as cooking and money management.
  • Encouraging further education, training and employment, setting clear goals, and developing links with statutory and community services.
  • Ensuring safety and security of the building, carrying out regular Health and Safety checks, room checks, fire risk assessments, and completing all repairs within timescales.
  • Identifying and dealing with safeguarding concerns and carrying out thorough risk assessments, liaising with professionals to reduce and manage risk.

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

  • Excellent communicator with a confident manner, remaining calm under pressure.
  • Demonstrable experience working with young people with a range of support needs.
  • Knowledge of young people’s rights and professional boundaries is essential.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English.
  • Flexibility to travel across both sites and cover regular sleep‑in duties, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as per a rota.
  • Satisfactory enhanced clearance from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
