Blackpool & The Fylde College have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Specialist Practitioner in Automotive Engineering to join our dynamic team based at our Bispham campus. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis, and in return, we will offer a competitive salary of up to £27,313 - £30,454 per annum.

Blackpool and The Fylde College (B&FC) is seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Specialist Practitioner in Automotive Engineering to join our forward-thinking curriculum team. This role is central to coordinating and supporting effective learning across a range of automotive programmes, helping students develop the technical skills, confidence, and professionalism needed for the modern automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering and facilitating high-quality learning and assessment across classrooms, workshops, laboratories, and digital learning environments.
  • Preparing, maintaining, and monitoring learning resources, equipment, and workshops, with a strong focus on health and safety compliance.
  • Assessing, monitoring, and recording student progress, including marking work, maintaining records, and contributing to tutorials and action planning.
  • Supporting curriculum development, quality improvement activities, internal verification/moderation, and the development of online learning and assessment materials.
