Blackpool & The Fylde College have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Business Support Manager in Engineering to join our dynamic team based at our Bispham campus. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis, and in return, we will offer a competitive salary of up to £34,227 per annum. Blackpool and The Fylde College (B&FC) is seeking a proactive and highly organised Business Support Manager within our Engineering Department. The role is to ensure the smooth and effective operation of all business functions across the curriculum area. Key Responsibilities of our Business Support Manager in Engineering:
- Leading and coordinating core business functions across the engineering curriculum area, including planning, student recruitment and forecasting, data and registry management, and HR compliance.
- Embedding efficient and compliant business processes across all sections to support decision-making and ensure alignment with KPIs.
- Monitoring progress and ensuring robust compliance, including mandatory obligations such as Health & Safety, GDPR, and student records.
- Providing high-level administrative leadership, including supporting exam board preparation and contributing to UKVI Tier 4 processes.
- Driving a culture of continuous improvement, contributing to the leadership of the curriculum area and translating business objectives into effective operational plans.
- Building strong communication channels with internal and external stakeholders—including employers, students, and colleagues—and ensuring key actions, deadlines, and business requirements are understood and met.
