The Role
B&FC Group is seeking an experienced and industry-skilled Trainer in Vehicle Paint on a fixed-term contract until December 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality training and assessment, helping learners and apprentices develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours required for successful careers within the automotive refinishing industry.
Duties
As a key member of the team, your primary responsibility will be to deliver high-quality training and assessment in Vehicle Paint, supporting learners and apprentices to achieve successful outcomes. Duties will include:
- Delivering practical and theoretical training sessions in Vehicle Paint to apprentices and other learners.
- Assessing learner performance and providing timely, constructive feedback.
- Conducting learner progress reviews and supporting learners to achieve their individual learning plans and qualifications.
- Working closely with employers to support learner development and progression.
- Maintaining accurate learner records and using College systems to support learner success.
- Supporting recruitment activities including interviews, open evenings and employer engagement events.
- Ensuring training reflects current Vehicle Paint industry standards, technologies and health and safety requirements.
- Maintaining up-to-date professional and industry knowledge through continuous professional development.
