We’re seeking a proactive and highly organised Quality Officer to join our Quality and Standards team at Blackpool and The Fylde College. You’ll play a vital role in monitoring and assuring quality systems across the College, coordinating quality processes, and supporting staff and managers with accurate data, reporting, and compliance activities. This role is central to maintaining high standards of inclusive learning, teaching and assessment across FE, HE and Apprenticeships.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Plan, coordinate and carry out routine and targeted quality processes, including audits, curriculum reviews and internal quality assurance activities, reporting clearly on findings and outcomes.
- Gather, analyse and present complex quality and performance data, producing reports and documentation to inform decision‑making by senior leaders and management teams.
- Coordinate internal and external quality activities, including exam boards, awarding body visits, moderation, accreditation processes and monitoring feedback, surveys and reports.
- Provide expert administrative and operational support to the Quality & Standards directorate, maintaining robust systems, records, schedules and intranet content to ensure compliance.
- Support and guide staff across the College in understanding quality processes, standard documentation and continuous improvement, contributing to staff development and the enhancement of systems and practices.
