Summary of Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and delivery of the managed learning of students.
- Teach within the Engineering team on a range of programmes, delivering effective learning for students particularly in Electrical/Electronics at level 3 to level 6.
- Directly involved in the delivery and management of student learning within the Curriculum area.
- Fully conversant with course regulations and specifications for the defined area, ensuring conformity and best practice.
- Assist in the development and delivery of related programmes.
- Collaborate with other staff to ensure a high standard of teaching and learning.
- Assist with securing quality improvement within the Curriculum area.
- Monitor student recruitment, retention and achievement and take remedial action where necessary.
- Use effectively the systems used in the college (e-tracker, Canvas, internal verification, etc.) to ensure student success.
- Responsible for meeting recruitment targets, including participation in interviews, open days and specific curriculum events.
- Maintain an awareness of Health and Safety at all times and ensure that students are aware of safe practices and procedures.
