The Role
Blackpool and Fylde College are looking for a catering chef/supervisor based at Bispham Campus.
Key Responsibilities
- To operationally manage one or more of the College catering outlets which may include, but not be limited to:
- Staff supervision.
- Orders and receipt of deliveries.
- Finance, stock management, portion control and wastage.
- Gross profit margins.
- Preparing and cooking imaginative and healthy quality food.
- To maintain a high level of customer service with special regard to consistency and presentation.
- To ensure compliance with the requirements of food hygiene regulations, Health & Safety, COSHH regulations, risk management practices and allergy regulations.
- To ensure documentation for internal monitoring systems are completed including temperature sheets and Hazard analysis critical control points etc. to demonstrate due diligence enabling B&FC to maintain Grade 5 Food Safety.
- To balance and bank income from the outlet(s) as per B&FC financial regulations.
- To be flexible able to work across all sites, evening and weekends.
