The Role
Blackpool and The Fylde College (B&FC) is currently seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Lecturer in Construction Progress. This is an exciting opportunity to support and inspire students throughout their learning journey by delivering high-quality teaching, assessment and academic support, helping them develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours required for progression into further study or employment within the construction industry.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Delivering inclusive, engaging and high-quality learning, teaching and assessment across construction programmes, supporting students to achieve their full potential.
- Monitoring student progress, achievement and progression, providing targeted support and guidance to maximise retention, success and positive outcomes.
- Contributing to curriculum design, development and continuous quality improvement, ensuring programmes remain current, compliant and responsive to industry needs.
- Supporting student recruitment activities, including interviews, Initial Advice and Guidance (IAG), Open Days and curriculum-specific events.
- Effectively using college systems and digital learning technologies, including the VLE and progress tracking systems, to support student success and maintain accurate records.
