The Role
We’re seeking an experienced and proactive Health and Safety Business Partner (Construction) to provide expert advice, guidance, and support across our organisation.
You’ll work closely with managers, staff, and students to promote a positive safety culture, ensure compliance with legislation, and embed effective health, safety, and environmental practices across all operations.
This is a key role in supporting a safe, compliant, and high‑performing environment.
- How You’ll Make an Impact
- Act as a trusted business partner and advisor to curriculum and service areas, supporting compliance with health & safety legislation, policies, and best practice.
- Conduct health & safety reviews, risk assessments, and audits (including COSHH), ensuring actions are implemented and monitored effectively.
- Lead on accident/incident investigations, reporting (including RIDDOR), and continuous improvement activities to reduce risk.
- Support and deliver health & safety training, ensuring colleagues are competent in areas such as first aid, fire safety, and safe working practices.
- Manage and monitor compliance systems and records, ensuring accurate reporting and contributing to senior leadership updates.
