We’re seeking a committed and learner‑centred Specialist Practitioner in ESOL to support the delivery of high‑quality, inclusive learning across our ESOL provision. This maternity cover Study Programme role focuses on delivering the wider curriculum to ESOL learners across Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre, teaching non‑ESOL subjects such as maths, digital skills and Living and Working in the UK, and supporting learners from Pre‑Entry through to Entry Level 3.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and assess engaging learning across the ESOL Study Programme, facilitating learning in classrooms and other learning environments in line with schemes of work, ILPs and curriculum plans.
- Support learner success and progression by providing information, advice and guidance, enrolment support, assessment, feedback, action planning and recording of achievement.
- Contribute to quality and curriculum development through accurate administration, internal verification/moderation, online learning materials, and participation in team and curriculum meetings.
- Promote continuous improvement and professional practice by engaging in training, supporting quality improvement activities and contributing to the ongoing development of schemes of work and curriculum delivery.
